“Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them,

and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

But it shall not be so among you:

but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto,

but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:25-28, KJV)

The word the Athenians used for their Assembly was Ekklesia, the same word used in the New Testament for Church
(and it is the greatest philological irony in all of Western history that this word,
which connoted equal participation in all deliberation by all members,
came to designate a kind of self-perpetuating, self-protective Spartan gerousia -
which would have seemed patent nonsense to Greek-speaking Christians of New Testament times,
who believed themselves to be equal members of their Assembly.)

Fr. Michael,

on June 24 I wrote you an email asking you what kind of action will you take
for the letter that one of your APPOINTED parish council members wrote.
To this day you have not bothered to take any action whatsoever.
It is your responsibility to act,if you don't that means that you agree with the letter
as quite a few people say that you do.
Silence these rumors by taking action.
You used an accident to stage a MIRACLE to celebrate the so called split of our community, I wonder what will you do next to cover this unfortunate incident.
STOP MISINFORMING THE DIOCESE and you as well as your boss "kindly implement"
(as the letter from the archbishop said) the Synodal decisions for the "benefit of the Greater Salt Lake City Community".
Also I urge the Archdiocese as well as the Patriarchate to resolve this matter.
The sooner the better for our community!
P.S
The letter (Mr.James Derby) is attached.

Yanni, it's his deputies who need to take action, they are the ones in charge. He has no authority.
