Subj: Interim Parish Council
February 4, 2012
Dear Parishioners,
We, the undersigned, have been asked by His Eminence, Metropolitan Isaiah, to form an interim parish council to help our community move forward in peace and harmony with a spirit of Christian forgiveness.
We have taken the oath of office and elected officers. Our first meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 6th, at 7:00 pm in the Prophet Elias boardroom.
As directed by the Metropolitan one of our primary tasks, and our first priority, is to schedule a Parish Assembly and subsequent elections for a new elected parish council. We are aware of the doubts many people may have of another appointed parish council. We want to assure you our time will be short while we help reclaim the vibrancy that once was and shall, with the help of all of you, be again in our community.
Through your commitment to our wonderful Orthodox Church we ask for your support to help us revitalize our parish.
Me agape,
Phillip Floor, President
John Johnson
Margaret Kireiev
Nicole Mouskondis, Secretary
Jim Mylonakis, Vice President
George Pappas
Ted Sargetakis, Treasurer
Pete Sefakis, Assistant Treasurer
Demetrios Skedros
Harry Souvall
Elaine Zambos

A person who advocated that our community be declared in schism is now the president of the appointed "parish council"?
Seems this new "P.C." is already on the wrong track.
Tonight's agenda.
1. Fire Kouremetis.
2. End of meeting.
Messrs. Floor and Mylonakis, et al.,
I seriously wonder WHY you think any of us SHOULD believe ANY of you?
When you seized, with our clergy's blessings, ABSOLUTE control of our community (with your Metropolitan's and Proistameno's-of-Prophet-Elias-ONLY guarantees of "get into heaven free cards" - don't know WHY you would NEED THOSE!?? - you didn't give a thought to "free and fair elections", even when you understood how DEEPLY in the minority YOU were!) You were told those weren't needed? Or am I wrong? (Don't think so!)
I sincerely HOPE you've had some "revelation" (yeah, I know that's a charged word in THIS valley") but, I remember the words of someone who lived here during the two decades I did not (even though I grew up here) - the GREEK-AMERICANS in Salt Lake HATE the Mormons, and behave JUST LIKE THEM (in all the negative aspects and NONE of the positive)!!!
"J'accuse!" (Google the reference, IT FITS YOU GUYS!)
May Christ bless and HELP those trying to bring us back from the brink YOU drove us to!

Amen Barbara. What's needed is at least a gesture of good faith like following the Synods orders for one. Another would be some more fresh faces on the board. It's time to give a chance to others who don't keep our elders from entering their church.
Let's see elections on Feb. 26th, gotcha.
